Spray foam out and a new roof on, with TLX Gold insulated membrane
Spray foam removed with every rafter cleaned, sanded and treated, then a full re-roof on TLX Gold insulated membrane with a vapour barrier, double battens and a granulated brown tile.

How the job went
This roof had spray foam stuck to the underside, and the covering above it was due for replacement. We did both in one go.
In the loft
- All the spray foam removed, with every rafter cleaned, sanded and treated
- Loft insulation upgraded to meet current regulations
On the roof
- TLX Gold insulated membrane, with a full vapour barrier system
- Double battens for a stronger, better-performing roof build-up
- A new granulated brown tile
- A dry ridge system, which lets the loft breathe
- High-profile fibreglass dry valleys and eaves support trays
