A full re-roof with new timber soffits and fascias
New tiles, a dry ridge system, cement verges and valleys, and all-new wooden soffits and fascias to keep the house in its original character.

How the job went
A good-looking older house with a roof that had done its time. The brief was a full replacement that still looked right on the building, so the new roof had to suit the house rather than just keep the rain out.
What we did
- Stripped the old roof and laid new tiles
- Fitted a dry ridge system, so there is no ridge mortar to crack and wash out
- Cemented the verges and valleys
- Replaced the soffits and fascias in timber, not UPVC, to keep the house's original character
The finished roof sits on the house as if it had always been there, which was the point.
