A full re-roof in Sandtoft Olympus interlocking tiles in the Tuscan colour, with new leadwork round both chimneys, the dormer and the flat roof below.
What we did
How the job went
Sandtoft Olympus is a clay-look interlocking tile, and the Tuscan colour has a warm, slightly mottled tint to it, so the roof does not look flat and new for long. On an older house with dormers and brick chimneys, that matters.
What we did
- Re-roofed the main slopes and the dormer in Sandtoft Olympus, Tuscan
- New lead round both chimney stacks: back gutters, aprons and step flashing cut into the brickwork
- New lead round the dormer
- New lead where the tiles meet the flat roof below
The close-ups further down are the leadwork round the stacks, which is where a roof like this usually leaks first.
