How the job went
A roof with hips, valleys and a dormer is where natural slate shows how it was laid. Every slate along a hip or into a valley has to be cut by hand to the line, and it is the first thing you notice when it is done well.
What we did
- Stripped the old covering and re-roofed in natural slate
- Hips and ridge finished to match
- Valleys and the dormer slated in round the existing chimney stacks
